Okay, for those who are still reading, let’s start by just telling what exactly is Octopath Traveler. ![]() If you have not beat completely the game yet, you are STRONGLY advised to do so before continuing to read this post, I am not held responsible in case you didn’t read this and you get spoiled, your discretion is advised. This include anything that the player shouldn’t be aware when playing the game. The following text is what I call an “exhaustive review” meaning I am going to talk about EVERYTHING I possibly can on my thoughts on a video game, this implies NOTHING is going to be held back as far as story, gameplay or other kind of spoilers. DISCLAIMER, READ BEFORE SCROLLING DOWN FURTHER The game is Octopath Traveler: a JRPG released on Jfor the Nintendo Switch by Square Enix.īefore we begin though, I need to put the REALLY important disclaimer in case people aren’t familiar with how my exhaustive reviews work. Speaking of TTYD, this game was so good, I felt at some part like I was playing TTYD the first time because essentially, that playthrough shared A LOT of moments with the TTYD one for reasons that I will try to make clear in this exhaustive review. By good, I mean it in my opinion passed Earthbound making it my second favorite RPG ever (first one, for reasons that don’t need to be explained is Paper Mario TTYD). However, this is one that months after beating the game completely I made the conclusion that it HAD to be done and this is simply because playing this game was a HUUUGE journey of mind blowing, shock and just overall astonishment on how good this game ended up being. ![]() Ahhh, yes, it’s been a while I have done these exhaustive reviews and that’s primarily because there’s not that many games that made such a reaction to me that I have enough to say to make it worth an exhaustive review, also because I have been busy with other projects lately so I played less games.
